IPv4 and IPv6 proxies in 133 countries

A Panda Defender proxy gives a browser or an app the IP address of the country you choose. Each proxy works over HTTP and SOCKS5 with a login and password; MTProto proxies for Telegram are available too. You pay from your balance, and the connection details appear in your account and in the Telegram bot @PandaDefenderBot right after payment.

What a proxy is and how it differs from a VPN

A VPN routes all the traffic of a device. A proxy works only in the program where you set it up: a browser, a browser profile, a script or a messenger. That makes proxies handy when you need several addresses of different countries at once or want only one program to use another IP.

Countries and price

Proxies are available in 133 countries; the full list with prices for each country and term is shown when you buy. Prices start at $1.

HTTP and SOCKS5 proxies with a login and password

After payment you get two lines for the same proxy: http://login:password@IP:PORT and socks5://login:password@IP:PORT. Use the HTTP line for browsers and system settings, and the SOCKS5 line for apps that support it. Chrome and Edge do not support SOCKS5 with a login and password, so use HTTP there or an extension such as Proxy SwitchyOmega.

IPv4 or IPv6 proxy?

Most websites work over IPv4, so IPv4 is the safe choice. An IPv6 proxy opens only sites that support IPv6 and suits tasks where you need many addresses. If you are not sure, choose IPv4.

Where proxies are used

  • Browsers and browser profiles: a separate address of the right country for each profile.
  • Apps and scripts that support HTTP or SOCKS5.
  • Checking how a website, ads or search results look from another country.
  • Telegram: add the proxy as SOCKS5, or take a ready MTProto proxy for Telegram.

Step-by-step setup for browsers, Telegram and system settings is on the help page.

Questions about proxies

HTTP or SOCKS5 — which one should I use?

Use the HTTP line for browsers and system settings, and SOCKS5 for Telegram and apps that support it. Chrome and Edge do not support SOCKS5 with a login and password.

IPv4 or IPv6 proxy?

Most websites work over IPv4; an IPv6 proxy opens only sites that support IPv6. If you are not sure, choose IPv4.

Does a proxy work for all apps on my phone?

No. A proxy set in the Wi-Fi settings works only in that Wi-Fi network and only in apps that use the system proxy. For the whole device, use a VPN.
