MTProto proxy for Telegram
MTProto is the proxy protocol built into Telegram. A Panda Defender MTProto proxy is added to Telegram with one tap and is used only by Telegram; the rest of the device keeps its usual connection. You choose the country, pay from your balance, and the link appears in your account and in the bot @PandaDefenderBot right after payment.

- Open the proxy in your account or in the bot and tap «Connect in Telegram».
- Telegram opens and shows the proxy details. Tap «Connect proxy».
- To use the same proxy on another device, copy the link and open it there.
Manual setup
In Telegram open Settings → Data and Storage → Proxy → Add proxy, choose the MTProto type and enter the server, the port and the secret from your account. On a computer the menu is in Settings → Advanced → Connection type.
MTProto or SOCKS5?
MTProto works only in Telegram and needs just a link. A regular HTTP or SOCKS5 proxy can also be added to Telegram as SOCKS5 with an address, port, login and password, and the same proxy can then be used in a browser or other apps. If you need an address only for Telegram, MTProto is the simpler choice.
Why your own proxy
Public proxy lists are used by many strangers at once, and such proxies often stop working. A proxy you pay for has known terms: you see the country and the term before paying, and you can renew it from your balance.
